【赤絵細描(あかえさいびょう)画風】
赤絵細描画風は、九谷焼の中でも特に人気の高い画風のひとつです。
赤で緻密に人物や花鳥を描き、周りを小紋で埋め尽くして金彩を加えるのが伝統的な画風ですが、 近年は新進の作家によるモダンな解釈の作品も出てきています。
元々は吉田屋窯から引き継いだ宮本屋窯（1832～1859）で作られた様式で、主工の飯田屋八郎右衛門が独特の赤絵細描画風を確立させたことから「八郎手」「飯田屋」とも呼ばれます。

Akae fine painting style
Akae Saibi style is one of the most popular painting styles among Kutaniyaki.
The traditional style is to draw figures, flowers, and birds in red and fill in the surrounding area with small patterns, and then add gold.
Originally, this style was created at the Miyamoto-ya Kiln (1832-1859), which was taken over from the Yoshidaya Kiln, and is also called “Hachiro-te” or “Iidaya,” since the master potter, Hachiroemon Iidaya, established his unique style of fine red-painted painting.
