スプリングバンク蒸留所は、キャンベルタウン シングルモルトを生産する最後の生産者の 1 つです。キンタイア半島南部にあるこの蒸留所では、3 種類の異なるシングルモルト スコッチ ウイスキーを生産しています。

スプリングバンクは、大麦の麦芽化から蒸留酒の瓶詰めまで、ウイスキー製造工程のすべてのステップを同じ敷地内で行っているスコットランドの 2 つの蒸留所のうちの 1 つです。もう 1 つは、大麦も自家栽培しているキルホーマン蒸留所です。他の蒸留所では、工程の最初のステップである大麦の麦芽化 (希少になりつつあります) を今でも維持していますが、スプリングバンクではウイスキーの瓶詰めも自家生産しています。

この蒸留所では、さまざまな段階で製造工程を微調整することで、3 種類のシングルモルトを生産しています。

スプリングバンク シングルモルトは最も人気のある種類で、ロングロウ シングルモルトはピート香の強い 2 回蒸留ウイスキーで、ヘーゼルバーン シングルモルトは最新の種類です。

シェリーカスク
香り
フレッシュでフルーティー（リンゴの皮）で、背景にはタバコの葉の香りと、ある程度の土っぽさがあります。ゴムの香りとオゾンの香りがほのかに感じられます。シェリー酒の熟成も感じられ、ダークな甘さ、アプリコット、ハチミツの香りがします。

味
ピートの影響がかすかに感じられ、塩気もさらにかすかに感じられます。口当たりは油っぽく、甘さ（黒砂糖、サルタナ）、スパイシーさ（黒コショウ）、苦味（ダークチョコレート）が感じられます。やや土っぽさもあります。

フィニッシュ
わずかにプラスチックのような香りがしますが、温かいシナモンの香りもあります。ピートが長く残ります。


◾️ English Version

Springbank distillery is one of the last surviving producers of Campbeltown Single Malts. The distillery, located on the southern Kintyre peninsula, produces three distinct types of single malt Scotch whisky.

Springbank is one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step in the whisky making process, from malting the barley to bottling the spirit, on same premises: the other is Kilchoman Distillery who also grow their own barley. While a few others still maintain the first step in the process, the malting of barley (which is becoming more rare), Springbank also bottles their own whisky.

Three variants of single malt are produced from its distillery by tweaking the production process at various stages;

Springbank Single Malt is the most popular variety, Longrow Single Malt is a highly-peated, double-distilled whisky and Hazelburn Single Malt, the newest variety.

Sherry cask
Nose
Fresh and fruity (apple peel) with notes of tobacco leaves in the background, as well as a certain earthiness. A hint of rubber, as well as notes of ozone. The sherry maturation reveals itself as well, with a dark sweetness, as well as apricots and honey.

Taste
Subtle peat influence, with an even subtler brininess. The palate is quite oily, displaying a sweetness (brown sugar, sultanas), spiciness (black pepper) and bitterness (dark chocolate). Somewaht earthy as well.

Finish
A slight plastic note, but some warm cinnamon as well. Lingering peat.
