1996年からビールの生産者になって2016にウイスキーを作り始めました。
『和』を纏った香木を思わせる心地よい芳香
今回の「Edition 山桜」は海外のモルトウイスキーをベースに長濱蒸溜所のモルトを絶妙にブレンドした「Edition No.1」をベースに、日本原産「山桜」にて後熟を行いました。『和』を纏った香木を思わせる心地よい芳香と、優しい余韻が特徴の「Edition山桜」です。

▪️テスティング
外観は赤みがかった琥珀色。長濱モルトらしさのモルティーな甘さはそのままに、山桜由来の品のある甘く優しい麗らかな香り立ち。桜餅や梅を連想させる『和』のフレーバー。アマハガンシリーズ特有の穏やかなオレンジピールや黒蜜、口の中で広がる華やかで上品な甘さ。アフターには紅茶の様なリーフィーな心地よい渋みが訪れます。

This "Edition Yamazakura" is based on "Edition No.1", an exquisite blend of overseas malt whiskey and malt from Nagahama Distillery, and has been aged with Japanese native "Yamazakura". "Edition Yamazakura" is characterized by a pleasant aroma reminiscent of fragrant wood with a Japanese feel and a gentle aftertaste.

The appearance is a reddish amber color. The malty sweetness of Nagahama malt remains intact, and the elegant, sweet and gentle fragrance of Yamazakura. A "Japanese" flavor reminiscent of sakura mochi and plum. The gentle orange peel and brown honey unique to the Amahagan series, and the gorgeous and elegant sweetness that spreads in the mouth. The aftertaste is a leafy, pleasant astringency like black tea.
