やわらかな風に吹かれても消えることのない強い炎のように、ゆらりと流れるようなカットが刻まれたグラスです。

上部には江戸切子の伝統柄であり、喜びを久しく繋ぐとも言われる縁起の良い“菊繋ぎ文”の微細なカットが施され、ボトム部には大きく力強いカットが対称的に刻まれています。底にも施された深いカットは、上から見ると底から炎が生まれているようにも感じられます。また、多めに残されたガラスの地(鮮やかなガラスの色)は、躍動感のあるカットをより印象深くしています。

深くカットを入れた厚みのあるガラスは、手に持ったときにここちよい重厚感を与え、手に馴染み、しっくりとした感覚を味わえる逸品です。

This glass is engraved with cuts that seem to flow like a strong flame that is never extinguished even when blown by a soft breeze.

The top of the glass is decorated with fine cuts of the “chrysanthemum connection pattern,” a traditional Edo faceted glass with a good omen that is said to bring joy for a long time, and the bottom is symmetrically engraved with large, powerful cuts. The deep cut on the bottom also gives the impression of a flame from the bottom when viewed from above. The more glass ground (bright glass color) left on the bottom makes the dynamic cuts even more impressive.

The deeply cut, thick glass gives a pleasant sense of weight when you hold it in your hand, making it a gem that feels comfortable in your hand.
