「江戸切子の模様の組み合わせの中でこの形が一番美しい」と伝統工芸士が語るカットは、光が最も美しく見えるように計算されたデザイン。人気の黒被せの中でも透き通るタイプの青墨は、全体のイメージを引き締めながら、大人のたたずまいを見せてくれます。 艶やかに磨き上げられたカット部分はしっとりと光を反射し、いつまでも見飽きない逸品に仕上げています。

さらにこだわりはグラスの形にも。江戸切子には珍しいドーム型のグラスは、俯瞰で見たとき、デザインと光が一番美しくなるように選ばれたものです。柔らかい曲線のフォルムは手のひらにぴったりと寄りそい、飲み心地の良さにもつながっています。

From the side, the delicate thin lines and bold droplet-shaped cut of this glass are impressive. When exposed to light, a gorgeous sparkle spreads out. The cut, which the traditional craftsman says is “the most beautiful of all the combinations of Edo faceting patterns,” is a design calculated to show the light in the most beautiful way. The transparent type of blue ink, which is one of the most popular black cased types, gives a mature appearance while tightening the overall image. The cut portion, polished to a glossy shine, reflects the light moistly, creating a gem that you will never get tired of looking at.

Furthermore, we are particular about the shape of the glass. The dome-shaped glass, which is rare for Edo faceted glass, was chosen so that the design and light would be most beautiful when viewed from above.
